About Kathleen

Kathleen Rhodes is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a concentration in “At Risk Youth” from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2013 and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, concentrating in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver in 2017 where she also worked with students and community members in the on-campus mental health clinic.

Since 2012, she has worked with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, serving children and their families who have been impacted by substance use. Kathleen’s expertise in familial substance use and the impacts it has on the entire family system provides a rich understanding of how individuals and families heal from traumatic experiences.

Kathleen is skilled in several therapeutic techniques and practices through an experiential and narrative therapeutic lens. LGBTQIA+ affirming and continuously building her cultural competence, Kathleen remains up-to-date best practices in psychotherapy. She strives to help all her clients form a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding from which they can find the comfort, happiness, and freedom they deserve.
